It's The Jamaica Stock Exchange & You Podcast, and I am your host Heneka Watkis-Porter. From banking under the mattress, to banking on Lynk, surely we have come a far way when it comes to handling our money.
Today, we are making the link between Jamaica's Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) and Lynk. Lynk is currently the only approved wallet provider of the BOJ's CBDC and is available through the National Commercial Bank (NCB). Today, Kemoi Burke, Brand & Communications Manager, Lynk will take us through this final episode in Season 5 of the Jamaica Stock Exchange and You podcast.
Some of what we looked at were:
- Setting up accounts for consumers and merchants
- Jam-Dex, CBDC, Lynk...what is the connection?
- How does it work?
And lots more.
